In August 2013 we changed our diet which meant we also changed our lifestyle. My husband, being concerned for my health and his struggle to lose weight was the one who drove this change. I was a bit reluctant (well, that’s an understatement) but decided to give it a go. And now there is no turning back. Not only have we lost weight, we feel and look better and healthier.
I’m not an inspired cook. I’m a woman with a family that I have to feed, nurture and support. I’m someone who has had to drastically change the way I prepare meals and I’m someone who gets asked the question: “What do you eat?” quite a lot. And thus I have decided to write this blog.
I will post my favourite recipes (either my own or with links to someone else’s) and I will try to share our daily or weekly menu (but don’t get too excited – I’m also a lazy cook and I like to repeat dishes). I hope this blog will answer some questions and assist others to make this life-long change.
